Based in the Hillsborough area but covering all areas of sheffield and both Handsworth and Middlewood Road test centres, the driving school offers patient, friendly, professional instruction on a one to one basis. with a fully qualified Driving Standard Agency (D.S.A) Approved Driving Instructor.
we believe that it is paramount to teach not only to test standard but beyond and therefor all pupils are taught Safe Driving For Life.
All lessons are taught using a lesson plan and are structured to each individuals needs, this is then monitored with the pupil through a progress report.
When starting driving lessons we advise pupils to begin the Theory and Hazard Perception as this helps to understand all driving procedures within the driving lessons.
To help with the theory and hazard perception training we supply mock theory exam books and give adivse on what books / internet sites are useful to enable you to pass both your theory and practical tests.
For pupils showing interest before they are 17 we advise them to start the theory before the lessons so that they are well prepared for when they do begin lessons at the age of 17.
we find that once pupils master the basics of car control and road procedures they benefit greatly from having private practice and encourage family or friends who are to give the private practice to come along and observe a lesson so that pupils are taught up to date methods.
we offer 1-2 full hr lessons and a door to door service (home, college or work) within reason.
All lessons are on a one to one basis we do not operate the "piggy back system" this is where you would pick up the next pupil during your lesson and they drive you home. ( this system does not allow for structured lessons to each individual).
